About HydroRigor

HydroRigor is being built to make indoor hydroponic decisions easier to inspect, understand, and verify.

Why this site exists

Hydroponic guidance often mixes measurements, manufacturer claims, personal observations, and general advice without making those differences clear. HydroRigor's editorial purpose is to organize practical questions while keeping the evidence category and limits visible.

How information is organized

The site begins with decisions: choosing a system or crop, understanding nutrients and water, planning equipment, or troubleshooting a problem. Future data, calculators, reviews, and buyer guides must connect back to a source, method, or explicitly identified editorial interpretation.

Who runs HydroRigor

HydroRigor is founded and edited by Najeeb, a conservation scientist (MSc in Environmental Sciences) with hands-on field survey experience. His training is in collecting, checking and interpreting field data, not in selling equipment. That is the standard HydroRigor applies to home hydroponics: every target, range and recommendation should trace back to a named university, extension or manufacturer source that you can open yourself.

Guides credited to Najeeb are written or edited and then checked by him against the sources listed at the end of each page. Guides credited to HydroRigor Editorial are older pages that are being reviewed and upgraded to the same standard.

What HydroRigor does and does not claim

HydroRigor publishes sourced growing guides, crop reference data and calculators. When a guide recommends a variety, system or product type, it says which sources the recommendation rests on. HydroRigor does not claim hands-on product testing unless a page explicitly documents that test, and it does not publish invented ratings or live prices.

Qualifications and evidence

The site does not rely on invented credentials or implied personal experience. Claims should stand on disclosed evidence and reasoning. Where direct HydroRigor testing eventually occurs, it must be identified separately from published specifications and third-party evidence.
