Editorial standards
Editorial policy
HydroRigor's standards for sourcing, interpretation, corrections, updates, and responsible AI assistance.
Sourcing and provenance
Technical claims should cite an appropriate source and preserve enough context to understand what the source actually supports. A manufacturer specification, third-party publication, direct observation, and editorial inference are different evidence categories and should not be presented as interchangeable.
Evidence versus interpretation
HydroRigor should identify where a conclusion depends on editorial judgment. Uncertainty, conflicting evidence, or missing information should be stated instead of concealed behind false precision.
Corrections
Material factual errors should be corrected promptly once verified. The future production contact channel will include a correction path, and significant corrections should be noted where they could change a reader's decision.
Updates
Published dates and meaningful update dates should be visible. An update must not imply that every source, product, or recommendation was retested unless that work actually occurred.
Responsible AI assistance
AI tools may assist with structure, editing, code, consistency checks, or research organization. They do not create evidence, personal experience, product testing, or authority. Claims and citations remain subject to editorial verification.
Commercial independence
Compensation must be disclosed and must not determine the conclusion. M05 enforces typed commercial records, evidence boundaries, destination relationships, and separate acquisition disclosures. No affiliate destination or active compensated relationship is currently configured.
