Verdict
The three-part structure and mixing order are clearly documented, but manufacturer specifications alone do not support a HydroRigor performance recommendation.
Pros
- The manufacturer identifies a distinct role for each base component.
- The current program page states a clear water-first mixing order.
Cons
- Multiple components must be measured separately and used with the matching program.
- Manufacturer documentation does not provide an independent comparison with other nutrient systems.
Methodology
This page reviews current General Hydroponics manufacturer documentation only; no product was acquired and no hands-on evaluation occurred.
Merchant destinations
No merchant destination is configured for this page. HydroRigor does not provide a purchase link when a relationship and destination have not been explicitly recorded.
General Hydroponics describes FloraSeries as a three-part base nutrient system: FloraMicro, FloraGro, and FloraBloom. The manufacturer changes component proportions across its feed programs and specifies an addition order. That means the bottles are parts of a program, not interchangeable standalone doses.
Evidence boundary
This guide uses current General Hydroponics manufacturer pages accessed on the publication date. HydroRigor did not acquire or hands-on test FloraSeries. No independent performance comparison, product rating, price, availability, merchant destination, or affiliate link appears here.
Manufacturer documentation can establish product identity and instructions. It cannot by itself establish that FloraSeries is better than another nutrient system.
The three base components
The manufacturer describes FloraMicro as the calcium and micronutrient foundation, FloraGro as the vegetative component, and FloraBloom as the flowering and fruiting component. The complete program depends on using the components according to the selected current feed chart.
Do not infer that one bottle is a complete nutrient because its name matches the current growth stage. Check the current program for every required component.
Mixing order is explicit
The manufacturer directs users to add FloraMicro to fresh water first, mix thoroughly, then add FloraGro and FloraBloom in sequence, mixing between additions. It warns against combining concentrated components undiluted.
Use clean separate measuring tools or rinse thoroughly between products. Refer to the current chart for rates; this article intentionally does not duplicate changing feed-chart quantities.
Choose the program before the dose
General Hydroponics publishes several FloraSeries program variants. A rate from a three-part chart should not be combined casually with a different expanded program. Identify the program, plant stage, growing medium, and unit before measuring.
Source-water chemistry and the crop’s real condition still matter. A manufacturer chart is a documented starting framework, not proof that the final reservoir contains the right balance for every water source.
Use the calculator narrowly
After selecting the manufacturer’s exact liquid dose, HydroRigor’s nutrient mixing calculator can scale each component separately to the reservoir volume. It does not choose a FloraSeries program, predict EC, calculate elemental ppm, or combine the three parts into one assumed dose.
For general sequence and measurement controls, read how to mix hydroponic nutrients and the nutrient solution guide.
The evidence supports a description of how the documented system works. It does not support a HydroRigor recommendation.
